Location

Vaulted

Tangled Shore
Four-Horn Gulch Thieves' Landing Soriks's Cut Jetsam of Saturn

Overview

In-Game Objective

Stop the wanted enemy.

Completion

A cryo-pod drops from the sky into the event area. Depending on the location, it contains a different boss and is protected by different types of enemies. Guardians have to defeat several waves of enemies, then the cryo-pod opens and the boss comes out of it. It has to be defeated to complete the event. When the boss loses a certain amount of its health, the cryo-pod begins to emit a freezing gas, which deals damage to players standing on the ground around it.

  • Four-Horn Gulch's boss is the Tortured Abomination, an Abomination, which is surrounded by the Scorn.
  • Thieves' Landing's boss is the Pallas Siegebreaker, a Captain, which is assisted by the Fallen.
  • Soriks's Cut's boss is the Consul Partisan, a Centurion, guarded by the Cabal.
  • Jetsam of Saturn's boss is the Prince of Yul, a Knight, which is protected by the Hive.

This event can be made Heroic by capturing the boss instead of killing it. There are four circular vents close to the bottom of the cryo-pod, two on each side. When the pod begins to freeze its surroundings, the steaming vents can be destroyed, which reveals Arc cores. Players can take these cores and throw them at the boss to freeze it. The event becomes Heroic once the boss is properly frozen, and Guardians have to capture it. It can be captured faster with more people standing close to the boss.
