Acquisition
- Unlocked on tier 4 of the Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel Seasonal Artifact.
Usage
While Frost Armor is active, taking critical damage from combatants causes you to emit a freezing burst. This defensive mechanism works identically to the Winter's Shroud Aspect for Hunters and covers a similar radius.
The freezing burst outright freezes targets in PvE content, providing crowd control when you take critical damage from enemies.
Boost Effect
If you have the correct Tonic active, this perk receives enhanced effects:
- Increases the radius and strength of the freezing burst
- The slowing burst inflicts additional slow effects, which are particularly noticeable in PvP
Synergies
This perk synergizes well with other Frost Armor-related mods in the artifact:
- Wind Chill - Grants stacks of Frost Armor from rapid precision hits
- One with Frost - Enhances Stasis weapons while Frost Armor is active
