2 Trials Token represents a quantity of Trials Tokens, a Deprecated currency in Destiny 2 that was used to earn rewards from Saint-14 for participating in Trials of Osiris. These tokens were deprecated and removed from the game.

Description
Trials Tokens were proof of a Guardian's participation and success in the Trials of Osiris, Destiny 2's premier competitive PvP endgame activity. Players could exchange these tokens with Saint-14 for Trials-themed weapons and armor.
Acquisition (Historical)
When active, Trials Tokens were earned by:
- Completing Trials matches (3 tokens per match)
- Winning Trials matches (additional tokens)
- Completing Trials bounties
- Achieving certain passages milestones
Usage (Historical)
- 20 Trials Tokens could be exchanged for a Trials Engram from Saint-14
- Tokens were used to obtain additional Trials gear
- Players could stockpile tokens between weeks
Deprecation
Trials Tokens were deprecated and removed as part of the Trials of Osiris rework. The token system was replaced by:
- Trials Rank - A reputation system based on match participation
- Trials Engrams earned through rank progression
- Direct rewards from match completions and passage milestones
- Saint-14's reputation system with visible reward tracks
Replacement System
The new system eliminated:
- Token hoarding between seasons
- The need to visit Saint-14 repeatedly
- Uncertainty about reward drops
Instead, it provided:
- Automatic reputation gains from matches
- Clear reward structure at each rank
- More frequent gear drops
- Better targeting of desired items
Legacy
