Playstyle
Welcome to being a living God - the real kind, not one of those soft pansies the Hive worship. Oryx probably brings you up in therapy.
Jump right into the thick of it; there's no need for overly cautious gameplay here. Anything that cannot one-shot-kill you just... well, loses... badly.
- Step One: Trigger the Voidwalker's "Devour" effect, either by melee-killing a soft mob or by consuming your grenade charge by holding down L1/LB.
- Step Two: Pull out Drang, and start blasting away. When Drang gets low on ammo, switch to Sturm, and keep going. One kill with Sturm fully reloads Drang AND increases its precision damage until the next reload... so just don't reload it. Got at least one kill with Sturm? (Hint: Yes, you did.) Switch back to Drang. It will be fully reloaded and ready to go. Rinse and repeat.
- Step 3: Notice that, while you've been face-rolling with Sturm and Drang, your health has been fully recharging after each kill, and your grenade has been constantly recharging, so feel free to spam that ad nauseam as well.
- Step 4: So, you've been soloing a Public Event, and now you're down to the final boss. One clip of Sturm or Drang just won't cut it anymore, and you've got no adds left to Devour... Neato, gang. Pop your Nova Bomb, and lay into the poor bastard with your heavy weapon (Which should be at full ammo capacity, not to mention the excess ammo blocks which should be lying all over the place by now). Low on health? Pop your Healing Rift, and keep going.
