Solar Damage Mod was a Weapon Mod in Destiny 2 that converted a weapon's elemental damage type to Solar. It has since been removed from the game.

Overview

Solar Damage Mods were part of Destiny 2's original weapon modification system, allowing players to change their energy and power weapons' elemental damage types. This system was replaced when weapon elements became fixed properties.

  • Effect: Changes weapon damage to Solar
  • Cost: 2500 Glimmer from Banshee-44
  • Rarity: Blue/Rare

Legendary Version

  • Effect: Changes weapon damage to Solar + increases Power by 5

  • Rarity: Purple/Legendary
  • Additional Benefit: +5 Power Level boost
