Source Tablet of Ruin Artifact

Particle Reconstruction is an Artifact Perk.

Acquisition

Unlocked on tier 5 of the Tablet of Ruin Seasonal Artifact during Episode: Heresy.

Usage

When this perk is unlocked, Fusion Rifles and Linear Fusion Rifles receive significant enhancements that make them competitive for sustained damage scenarios.

Sustained Damage Enhancement

  • Continuous firing builds up a damage bonus over time
  • The longer sustained fire continues, the more damage the weapons deal
  • Creates a ramping damage effect that rewards extended firing phases

Ammo Regeneration

  • Sustained fire also regenerates ammunition in the magazine
  • The more shots fired consecutively, the more magazines are refilled
  • Allows for extended damage phases without reloading
  • Reduces dependency on ammunition pickups during critical moments

Weapon Compatibility

  • Works with all Fusion Rifles, both Exotic and Legendary
  • Works with all Linear Fusion Rifles, both Exotic and Legendary
  • Does not distinguish between energy types or specific weapon archetypes

Meta Impact

Particle Reconstruction has significantly impacted the Episode: Heresy meta by:

  • Bringing Fusion Rifles and Linear Fusion Rifles back into high-tier content viability
  • Making these weapons competitive for boss damage and sustained DPS phases
  • Providing an alternative to traditional heavy weapon damage strategies

Tier 5 Significance

As a tier 5 perk, Particle Reconstruction is considered one of the most impactful additions to the final column of the artifact. It's frequently recommended as a must-have pick for players looking to maximize damage output in challenging content.
