Major Resist is a deprecated Legendary Armor Mod in Destiny 2 that previously reduced incoming damage from major-tier enemies when equipped on Chest Armor.

Overview
Major Resist was a damage reduction mod that provided protection against attacks from major enemies (enemies with orange health bars). This mod has been deprecated and no longer functions in the current version of Destiny 2. Players who have this mod equipped should replace it with another mod.
Previous Effects
When functional, Major Resist provided:
- 10% damage reduction from major-tier enemies
- Stacking behavior with diminishing returns:
x1 - 10.00% x2 - 17.86% x3 - 23.58% x4 - 27.16% x5 - 30.00%
Enemy Classification
For the purposes of this mod, the following enemies were considered "Major" tier:
- Enemies with orange health bars
- Elite variants of standard enemies
- Mini-bosses in various activities
- High-value targets
- Certain Champions in lower-tier content
Deprecation
As part of armor mod system updates, Major Resist has been deprecated and no longer provides any benefit. The in-game description states: "This mod has been deprecated and no longer functions. You may replace it with another mod."
