Unlocked on the Tablet of Ruin Seasonal Artifact during Episode: Heresy.
Usage
When this perk is unlocked, defeating powerful Taken enemies loads the equipped weapon with Taken energy, fundamentally altering its next shot.
Taken Energy Mechanics
- Defeating Major or Ultra Taken enemies triggers the effect
- The weapon becomes charged with Taken energy, indicated by visual effects
- The next shot fired transforms into a special attack
Taken Seeker Rounds
The empowered shot launches three Taken seeker projectiles that:
- Actively track and pursue nearby enemies
- Apply Disrupt to targets, stunning
Overload Champions - Apply Exhaust to targets, reducing their damage output
Strategic Application
King's Vestige effectively turns any weapon into a temporary version of exotic weapons like Barrow-Dyad, providing:
