Description	Fight your way to the Spire of Exorcism and defend Mara Sov as she extracts the Witch Queen's worm. Repel Xivu Arath's ferocious attempts to invade the Dreaming City and interrupt the ritual.

Exorcism was a matchmade 6-player mission available during the final week of the Season of the Lost. It concluded the season's story, leading directly into the story of The Witch Queen.

Reward

The reward for completing this mission was not given to players immediately. After the release of The Witch Queen, and the beginning of the Season of the Risen, players who completed the mission could claim their reward from the War Table.

Notes

• The recommended Power Level for this mission was originally 1270, but it was lowered to 1170 to help lower level players complete it.
• The cutscene that played at the end of the mission was skippable by any player in the matchmade fireteam. This was not changed, with Bungie simply recommending that players should not skip the cutscene. The full cutscene was uploaded to the official Destiny 2 YouTube channel.
• Initially, it was possible to join this mission through matchmaking while it was in progress. Bungie eventually disabled this option.
