Description	Once a Lightbearer, Eris Morn descended into the Hellmouth of the Moon where she lost her fireteam, her Ghost, and her Light to the Hive.

Eris Morn is one of two vendors on the Moon, along with the Lectern of Enchantment. The Shadowkeep expansion is required to access her wares.

Biography

Eris Morn was once a Hunter and a member of a six-Guardian fireteam that descended into the Hellmouth on the Moon to kill the Hive prince Crota. The mission was a catastrophe: her companions — among them Eriana-3, Sai Mota, Vell Tarlowe, Omar Agah, and Toland — were lost, and Eris alone survived. She crawled out having lost her Ghost and her Light, her eyes replaced by three glowing green Hive eyes, but with an unmatched understanding of the Hive.

Eris became one of the Vanguard's most valuable guides against the Hive, aiding Guardians through the campaign against Crota's forces, the Taken War against Oryx, and the return to the Moon during Shadowkeep.

During Season of the Witch, Eris underwent a ritual to ascend to Hive godhood, taking up the power of Savathûn. As a new Hive god she banished Xivu Arath from her own Throne World, stripping the God of War of her godhood.

Location

She becomes available after the player completes the A Mysterious Disturbance quest.

Eris offers two weekly, four daily and additional bounties.

Weekly

These bounties cost 1,000 each. Although it is not mentioned on the bounties' tooltips, they most likely reward XP++, in line with other weekly bounties.

• Lunar Spelunker — rewards Firewall Data Fragment.
• Slow-Wave Disruption — rewards Hymn of Desecration.

Eris sells 4 daily bounties, randomly chosen from each category. Each bounty costs 250 and rewards XP+.

After completing the Shadowkeep campaign, Eris will give one of these quests per week. They can only be completed once.

  • All existing in-game sources of destination materials will be disabled. Players will no longer earn destination materials via interacting with resource nodes, opening chests, completing public events, finishing strikes, etc.
