Caiatl is the Empress of the Cabal and the daughter of the exiled Emperor Calus.

Biography
Caiatl took command of much of the Cabal Empire after her father's exile. She first came to the Sol System seeking to fold humanity into her empire by force, demanding the Vanguard's submission. After the Guardians prevailed in the Rite of Proving, she set aside the conflict and forged a wary alliance with the Vanguard against greater threats.
Through the events of The Witch Queen and The Final Shape, Caiatl fought alongside humanity against the Lucent Brood and the forces of the Darkness, including the Shadow Legion led by her own father after he became a Disciple of the Witness. She stood with the allied Coalition in the final battle against the Witness.
