Lucent Brood

The Lucent Brood (also called the Lucent Hive) are a faction of Hive who wield the Light, created through Savathûn's theft of the Light during the events of The Witch Queen.

Overview

Unlike other Hive, the Lucent Brood are raised by Ghosts as Lightbearers, granting them Guardian-like abilities and the power to resurrect. They are marked by ornate pale-and-blue armor and follow the standard Hive structure of Acolytes, Knights, and Wizards, here reborn with the Light. A Lucent Hive enemy can only be permanently defeated by crushing its Ghost after it falls. They serve as the primary foes of the Witch Queen campaign on Savathûn's Throne World.
