Ascendant Lens is an item associated with the Festival of the Lost.
Acquisition
This item was rewarded during the Festival of the Lost 2020 event in the Season of Arrivals, after opening 45 chests in the Haunted Forest activity.[1][2]
Usage
During the Festival of the Lost 2021 event in the Season of the Lost, after completing the Gone but Not Forgotten quest, this item could be given to Queen Mara Sov. She could be found in her chambers, accessed through a portal in the Awoken Wing of the H.E.L.M. She would reward the players with a 
Bottomless Goody Bag.[2]

Queen Mara's eyebrows lift as you hand her the Ascendant Lens. "This is an exceedingly rare trinket," she says, peering at you through the lens.
"It may not look like much to a common Guardian, but in the hands of our Techeuns, it will be a valuable research tool. You were right to bring it to me."
"Allow me to repay your generosity," she says, handing you a handsome reward.
You start to thank her, but she's already walking away. You've been dismissed.

- The Lens' purpose was unknown at the time of its release.[1]
- If the player has obtained it, the Ascendant Lens will appear in their Collections under "Collectibles," located within the Miscellaneous tab of the Flair section.[1]
