Transmigration

Transmigration is the opening story mission of The Final Shape in Destiny 2.

Overview

Set inside The Pale Heart of the Traveler, the mission has the Guardian follow Zavala and Ikora Rey into the Traveler after the assault on the Witness begins. At an old Vanguard command center, the Guardian finds a Prismatic Conflux and unlocks the Prismatic subclass by fusing Light and Darkness. The mission ends with a reunion with Cayde-6, resurrected within the Pale Heart, who explains the Witness's plan for the Final Shape. Taken and Dread forces oppose the Guardian throughout.
