Description

Direct hits do more damage to combatant shields. Dealing damage increases reload speed. Rapid final blows against grenade-damaged combatants refill the magazine.

Effect

There are 3 sub-effects in Thin the Herd:

1. Direct hits do more damage to enemy combatant shields.
2. Dealing damage increases reload speed.
   • +70 Reload Speed
   • 7s Duration
3. Rapid kills against grenade-damaged enemies refill the magazine.

Effect 3 is worded strangely since this has no relation to Grenades. What this actually does is refill the magazine:

1. On any kill using any other source of damage after dealing damage with the Fighting Lion
2. On any kill with the Fighting Lion after killing something with some other source of damage

Patch History

• 3.4.0
  • Removed the multi-hit requirement (i.e. dealing any damage will grant the buff). 
  • Increased the buff to the reload stat from +50 to +70. 
  • Reload will still be slow if you miss, but if you land any damage Fighting Lion will reload faster than it did before the nerf. 
  • Increased the buff duration to 7s.
