The Ritual is the final story mission of the The Witch Queen campaign in Destiny 2.

Overview
Savathûn has brought the Traveler to her Throne World, and the Guardian fights through her fortress to stop her ritual before she can claim it. The boss fight against Savathûn moves through several phases and ends with her defeat, which frees the Traveler to return to the Last City. Her Ghost, Immaru, escapes before he can be destroyed, leaving room for her return. A closing scene turns toward the Witness as the next threat.
