Enhanced Perks
Enhanced Perks, also called Enhanced Traits, are upgraded versions of a weapon's perks. An enhanced perk gives a stronger version of the perk's effect, and in some cases an added benefit such as faster activation or a small stat boost.

Overview
Enhanced perks arrived with weapon crafting in The Witch Queen. A crafted weapon can have its enhanceable perks upgraded once the weapon has gained enough levels, with each enhancement costing an Ascendant Alloy. The Final Shape expanded the system so that perks on many non-craftable Legendary weapons can be enhanced as well. Those weapons first have to reach a required level through use, after which their perks can be enhanced directly without crafting the weapon. An enhanced perk is shown with a brighter icon and the word "Enhanced" in its name.
