Heartshadow Catalyst is the Catalyst of Heartshadow. It gives Heartshadow the Wraithwalk perk, increases its Ammo Capacity by 6, and Masterworks it.

Acquisition
This item can be acquired from the Duality dungeon. After Heartshadow is unlocked in Collections, new miniboss enemies will appear in sections of the dungeon. Defeating these enemies will drop a Standard Essence, which must be picked up and placed on a nearby pedestal marked with its symbol, similar to those found in the Caiatl boss fight. Picking up a Standard Essence will grant a buff that is lost if the player dies.[1]
The first miniboss is found in the Descent, the first section of the dungeon. In the Nightmare realm, drop down from the rafters onto a balcony leading to a side passage. This passage contains one of the repressed memory collectibles, and has a War Beast statue at the end. In this side passage, defeating Nightmare of Ka'nok, Failed Assassin (an Incendior) will drop a Standard Essence when killed, and will trigger the 30 second Nightmare Collapsing timer. The pedestal where the Standard must be placed is located directly behind the next bell that must be activated to progress.[1]
The second miniboss is found in Ever Downward, the section after the Gahlran encounter. Nightmare of Regor, Failed Assassin (a Centurion), is found on a platform on the other side of the large chasm at the start of the area. The Standard buff must be carried to the room with the rotating statues without dying. After entering the Nightmare realm in the statue room, the pedestal can be found on one of the pillars surrounding the area. Throughout this section, there is no timer.[1]
After completing the Vault encounter, the third and final miniboss can be found in the Depths. After entering the Nightmare realm for the second time in this area, players will need to jump across a large gap between rafters. On the right side of this room when facing the bell, Nightmare of Hou-dai, Failed Asssassin (a Legionary), will be standing on some stairs near one of the collectibles. Picking up the Standard will start the Nightmare Collapsing timer. After using the bell to leave and then jumping across to the rafters, the Standard can be placed on the pedestal. This will cause a chest to spawn, rewarding the catalyst.[1]
The catalyst's upgrade is unlocked by defeating 400 enemies with Heartshadow.
