Finest Matterweave is a Consumable item.
Acquisition
This item could be rarely obtained by dismantling Legendary weapons and armor items.
As of Update 7.1.0, Finest Matterweaves can no longer be acquired. Whenever one would have dropped, 1 
Enhancement Core will drop instead.[1]
Usage
This item can be consumed to give the player the "Finest Matterweave" buff: "Defeated bosses have a chance of dropping an Enhancement Core." While it is active, defeated powerful enemies could drop an Enhancement Core. The buff was active until an Enhancement Core is dropped.
As of Update 7.1.0, Finest Matterweaves have been deprecated and no longer grant a buff when used. Any remaining in players' inventories can each be dismantled to earn 1 Enhancement Core.[1]
