| Description | Kill an enemy with this melee ability to create an overshield around you and nearby allies. |
- The overshield granted by this ability is represented by a blue health bar laid over the normal white bar, similar to that granted by the Shielded buff given upon reviving a fellow Guardian. This overshield initially has a maximum duration of 10 seconds(?).
- While Turn the Tide is in effect, the overshield granted by Defensive Strike now lasts for up to 20 seconds and grants increased melee damage and reload speed until it is destroyed.
