Showdown is a round-based Crucible mode in Destiny 2.

Overview
In Showdown, two teams compete across rounds, and the first team to reach the round's kill target wins that round. The first team to win three rounds wins the match. If the score is tied at two rounds each, a final round is played in an elimination format, where each player has a single life and reviving a teammate reduces the enemy team's count. Showdown debuted as the first Crucible Labs test mode in 2018.
