Missions are the story and standalone PvE missions of Destiny 2.

• Story Missions — the narrative missions that make up the campaigns.
• Exotic Missions — special, often repeatable missions that reward Exotic gear.
• Exotic Mission Rotator — the weekly rotation of returning Exotic missions.
