Loadouts are a character management system in Destiny 2 that allows players to save and quickly swap between complete equipment configurations, including weapons, armor, mods, subclass settings, and cosmetics. Introduced with the Lightfall expansion, this system enables mid-activity build changes.

Overview

The loadout system addresses the long-standing community request for easier build management. Players can save their entire character configuration and switch between different setups with a single button press, even during activities where traditionally equipment changes were restricted.
