Thanks for your contributions!

Hi Nelson, and welcome to the wiki. First, thank you for your recent contributions. Your work has gone a long way toward cleaning up and expanding our database. We just wanted to ask that, going forward, you would refrain from making any large-scale alterations to the formatting of pages (such as the Weapons hub page, which has since been reverted) without first contacting an Admin such as Duskpyre, DestinyGameWiki, or myself. Thanks, and we look forward to your future contributions!

One sentence pages

Hey, nice to have you back. Can you please stop creating one sentence pages that contain literally no useful info? — Selph-3 (talk) 16:12, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

Duplicate files

Don't upload the same file twice. It takes some time for stuff to update when you reupload images, that doesn't mean you should upload a copy of the file separately. — Selph-3 (talk) 17:54, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

New pages

First: don't add acquisition templates to pages without an icon to use on them. They look better as they are now and I don't want to drop whatever I'm doing to look for an icon because someone wanted to add some redlinks to pages. Second: don't create pages that contain one sentence and tables. Sure, sometimes there isn't much to put on a page, but an event with actual mechanics, difficulty tiers and rotating bosses should definitely contain more info, just like the page about the new dungeon. Imagine yourself as a person who wants to look up something on the wiki. You check the main page and see that Altars of Sorrow doesn't have a page and look for information about it elsewhere. OR you see that Altars of Sorrow has a page, you check it out and see that it contains just one sentence with obvious stuff, lists some of the drops and that's it, so you STILL have to look elsewhere. Which one feels worse? If you can't write a page properly, wait for someone else to do it. — Selph-3 (talk) 14:33, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
