General Information

• Uncommon items are denoted in-game by a green tooltip.
• Uncommon items fall into the second tier of rarity.

Characteristics

• Uncommon equipment cannot have a base Attack/Defense greater than 200.
• Uncommon equipment cannot be Infused.
• Uncommon equipment cannot be Infused into other equipment.
• Uncommon equipment cannot be recolored with Shaders.
• Uncommon equipment cannot be altered with Mods.
• Uncommon equipment can be purchased from Faction Vendors.
• Uncommon engrams decrypt automatically when they are picked up.

Acquisition - Uncommon Equipment

• Uncommon equipment may be obtained upon completion of certain Adventures.
• Uncommon equipment may be obtained upon completion of certain Quests.
• Uncommon equipment may be obtained upon completion of a Crucible match.

Acquisition - Uncommon Engrams

• Uncommon engrams may drop randomly from defeated enemies.
• Uncommon engrams may drop randomly from planetary chests.
• Uncommon engrams may drop randomly from region chests.
• Uncommon engrams may drop randomly from High-Value Target chests.
• Uncommon engrams may drop randomly from Public Event chests.
• Uncommon engrams may drop randomly from Lost Sector chests.
• Uncommon engrams may drop randomly from Cayde's loot stashes.
