==Introduction==
Just like the other 2 classes, the Warlock class makes a return from the original Destiny into Destiny 2, with a few changes here and there to make the class new and accessible; without being completely redone to make it seem unrecognisable.

Before jumping in, what exactly is the Warlock class? The Warlock class is what would be considered as a strong attack and defending character; a sort of jack of all trades. By using their “magic” to their advantage, they can cause a fair amount of damage to enemies which other classes can’t in the same way, be they in PvE or PvP.

Similar to the other 2 classes, the Warlock has 2 different subclasses as of right now: the Voidwalker and the Dawnblade, both subclasses that fans of the series are looking to try out on release.

==Voidwalker==

Voidwalker is the one subclass that made its way back from the original game, along with a number of much needed changes that fans of the original Voidwalker are going to love to see this time around.

===Super===
With these new changes, Voidwalker keeps an ability we all know and love:

Nova Bomb – Throw an explosive bolt of Void Light at the enemy, disintegrating any who are unlucky enough to be caught within its blast.

===Grenades===
Moving onto the 3 grenades for the class, we’ve once again got plenty of damage held within these grenades, while managing to do just enough to make some poor, unsuspecting fool panic at the sight of them:

Vortex Grenade – A grenade that will create a vortex which continuously damages enemies trapped inside of it.

Axion Bolt Grenade – A bolt of Void Light that forks into smaller bolts upon impact and then proceeds to seek out nearby enemies.

Scatter Grenade – This grenade will split into many smaller grenades, which will quickly cover a large area with multiple explosions.

===Jumps===
As with all of the other classes, the Warlock gets its trademark Glide back in the form of:

Strafe Glide – Jump whilst you are in the air to activate Glide and start an airborne drift with strong	directional control.

Blink – Blink while you are in the air to teleport a short distance in front of you.

Burst Glide – Jump whilst you are in the air to activate Glide and start an airborne drift with a strong a strong initial boost of speed.

===Rift===
The Warlock receives the Rift ability this time around and they both have a different use, depending on which of the two you prefer for your Warlock:

Healing Rift – Conjure a well of Light that will continuously heal anyone stood inside of it.

Empowered Rift – Conjure a well of Light that will increase the attack power of those inside of it.

===Attunement of Chaos===
Last but not least, we’ve got the 2 different sets of talents for the Voidwalker subclass, starting off with the Attunement of Chaos:

Entropic Pull – Strike an enemy with your melee ability to drain their life force and use it to recharge your grenade.

Chaos Accelerant – Hold L1/LB to draw power from your Super to overcharge your grenade, making it deadlier and more effective.

Bloom – Void ability kills cause enemies to explode.

Cataclysm – Nova Bomb travels slowly, but seeks enemies. Detonations shatter into smaller seeker projectiles and the Nova Bomb can be detonated early by shooting at it.

===Attunement of Hunger===
Here are the final 4 set of talents for the Voidwalker subclass, known only as the Attunement of Hunger:

Devour – Kill an enemy with your melee ability to fully regenerate your health. For a short time afterwards, kills restore additional health.

Feed the Void – Hold L1/LB to consume your grenade energy to regenerate your health and will also grant the Devore effect.

Insatiable – While the Devour effect is active, killing enemies extends its duration and recharges your grenade.

Vortex – Nova Bomb creates a singularity which continually damages enemies trapped inside of it.

==Dawnblade==

The warlock gets treated to a brand new subclass this time around, but this one is a little more on the up-close and personal spectrum. Instead of taking out foes from a distance, you can cut them down with a literal blade of Solar Light, known by the name:

Daybreak: - Summon and wield blades of Solar Light to smite your foes from the skies.

Sticking to its damage-dealing role, the Dawnblade has a number of grenades that will deal some solid damage, and some that use a bit of damage over time as well.

===Grenades===
These grenades are as follows:

Solar Grenade – This grenade creates a flare of Solar Light, which will continuously damage enemies that are trapped inside of its radius.

Firebolt Grenade – A grenade that unleashes bolts of Solar Light at any nearby enemies.

Fusion Grenade – This right here is an explosive grenade which causes bonus damage when attached to a target.

===Glide===
Just like with the Voidwalker, there is no change in the Glide ability, so it’s exactly as you would expect:

Strafe Glide – Jump whilst you are in the air to activate Glide and start an airborne drift with strong	directional control.

Blink – Blink while you are in the air to teleport a short distance in front of you.

Burst Glide – Jump whilst you are in the air to activate Glide and start an airborne drift with a strong a strong initial boost of speed.

===Rift===
Once more, the Rift abilities are exactly the same as the Voidwalkers, with no concurrent changes between the two of them, as you can see here:

Healing Rift – Conjure a well of Light that will continuously heal anyone stood inside of it.

Empowered Rift – Conjure a well of Light that will increase the attack power of those inside of it.

===Attunement of Sky===
Time for the final hurdle; we’ve got our last 2 sets of talents for the Dawnblade, with each varying between the other to some degree and the first of the 2 is Attunement of Sky:

Swift Strike – Strike an enemy with your melee ability to burn your target and increase your movement speed and reload speed for a short time.

Icarus Dash – Press O, O/B, B while you are in the air to dodge to one side.

Heat Rises – Kills in the air will recharge your grenade and melee energy. Casting Daybreak instantly refills all of your abilities energy.

Winged Sun – Engage your enemies mid-fight. Fire weapons and throw grenades while you are gliding.

===Attunement of Flame===

And, to end it all for the Warlock, we’ve got the final set of passives for the Dawnblade, known only as the Attunement of Flame:

Igniting Touch – Strike an enemy with your melee ability to burn them and cause them to explode once they are killed.

Fated for the Flame – Daybreak projectiles seek targets as they travel and upon impact they will launch a streak of deadly flames.

Everlasting Fire – Killing an enemy with Daybreak extends its duration.

Phoenix Dive – Hold O/B while mid-air to quickly descend and restore your health. While Daybreak is currently active, descend will cause explosive damage.
