Kepler

Kepler is a destination in Destiny 2, introduced with the The Edge of Fate expansion. It is a planetoid in the outer reaches of the solar system, reshaped by exposure to dark matter and a strange singularity.

Overview

Exploration of Kepler revolves around a set of "dark matter" destination abilities that Guardians unlock as they progress:

• Matterspark — transform into a ball of energy to roll through narrow gaps and solve traversal puzzles.
• Relocator — fire at Relocator pads to teleport across the environment.
• Mattermorph — reshape certain structures and objects in the world.
• Rosetta — translate the Aionian language to open sealed areas and chests.

Difficulty on Kepler can be raised through the Portal using world tiers, increasing enemy challenge and reward quality.

Activities

• The Sieve — a recurring zone event in which players defend a dark matter extractor against waves of enemies.
• Kepler also hosts the The Edge of Fate campaign, free-roam exploration, and destination quests such as Explore Kepler.
